If you're on our $18 or $20 or $25 plan, you'll be automatically upgraded for free from 4G to 5G on your next renewal cycle after 20 May 2024. Simply swap your current 4G SIM card to a 5G SIM card/ eSIM to enjoy 5G speeds. Here's how: Login to the giga App > Mega Menu > SIM services to request for a SIM swap. You may change to a 5G physical SIM that will delivered to your doorstep, or opt for an eSIM for instant activation!

If you are currently on the 4G plans on $10, $15 plan or gigaBuddy Data-only plan, you can upgrade to 5G network by changing plans to the $18, $20 or $28 plan. Change plan is free of charge with giga, and your new monthly subscription will kick in on your next renewal cycle. What's more, all 5G giga plans come with free monthly roaming too!
